Astrid is missing Grammie today, she flew to Florida this morning to be with her sister, Aunt Jill. Jill is in hospice. We’re thinking about Jill and Grammie said there was a lot of laughter today in the room with Jill’s daughters. Laughter is a good, soothing thing.
Daddy took Astrid to school, mommy picked her up after the staff vs 5th graders kickball game. Staff won and mommy was glad to put this on for the school- it’s simple and fun! We got a later swim time today since it’s hard to get Astrid there at 5 when we’re not on our regular schedule. Astrid swam well and had fun in the pool with all the instructors at closing time.
