Exhausted

 Three days at the fair, now off to the river! Mommy will post pictures from the fair during our drive! 

Happy Cake

Astrid loved daddy’s “happy cake “ that Grandpa Greg brought for daddy’s birthday today! Daddy ran a couple good runs today but there was a bad roll over and the races ended early the first session which sort of changed the mood for the day. More information to come! 

 

Fair Tuff Trucks

It’s been a long day. Mommy will update tomorrow or Friday about our fair experience! It’s been fun!!

 

School & Screens

Astrid is having a lot of fun learning about camping this week at school. She’s in for a big surprise when she learns there’s lightening bugs in Indiana! At home she took a great nap, did great things on the potty, and watched/helped daddy get ready for his Tuff Truck competition at the fair tomorrow. It will be fun! 

 

Play

Astrid loved school today, loved helping mommy at Wal-Mart, was super tired on the way home but woke up after mommy transferred her, was a spitfire the rest of the day, but enjoyed pulling a bag of play dough out on her own and creating tons of little worms. Astrid was having a blast! 

 

Weekend

It’s been a busy weekend full of lots of potty, strides, walks, play at home and naps that we all struggled with. She’s learning so much right now and talking up a storm, mommy thinks it’s making her a bit over stimulated and making naps difficult…plus our routine isn’t the same now that mommy is out of school! 

 

Library

Potty training, Oliver teenager training, mommy getting used to summer break. It’s been a busy, interesting week. Astrid finally went potty on the toilet at school instead of just sitting 

On it. We went to the library to read, have fun and pick up her summer reading challenge prize. Then off to home for nap and to cruise Grand with daddy and Oliver for a little while. It’s going to be a nice weekend! 

 

Pool Time

We had happy pool time with Claire and Shane after school today! There was a dead rat in the big pool which made it off limits for the big kids. Luckily Aunt Jess was able to get some pool guys dispatched over asap so other kids could enjoy the pool later! Astrid said the rat was going ni ni…it made us all laugh. We played at the playground and talked with Grammie when she came to get the kids again. Astrid took a wonderful nap and did well in the potty at home. Just one accident at school because she couldn’t get her pants down and was waiting for the potty and one accident at the playground because mommy wasn’t fast enough. Overall we’re doing great for day 6!!
