Sleepy

Astrid woke up at 5:30 am and couldn’t go back to bed. She never gets up before 6 am, takingcarababies helped mommy establish that routine. But this morning was different..so she played, ate, slept a long time,then in the evening she drew with daddy in her notebook. She loves to draw!

 

Old Stuff

Astrid had fun with Grammie & grandpa, and took a wonderful nap. We went to get veggies & fruits at sprouts after then headed home. We walked up the hill to get a really old warming tray from our neighbor Andrea… The warming tray is for a morning breakfast mommy’s grade level is in charge of on Friday. After, Astrid had fun being in charge of the house. Dinner table, bathtime, toothbrush routine… she was trying to control it all! We let her for the important things… bath and teeth brushing but had to practice some positive discipline at the dinner table and when she started climbing up on the coffee table, no pictures were taken of the naughty behavior. 

 

Gardening & Dinner Table

Astrid was a busy girl in the garden when we got home. She had a great day with Grammie and grandpa. Then at home she played in the yard with the cats while mommy filled pots with soil. Eventually she came to help for a few minutes then got super into her watering can. She’ll get more use out of that when we start watering our starters!

Tonight we sat at the kitchen table together …something we need to do more often. Astrid definitely prefers this way over her high chair. She’s been trying to climb out. It’s amazing how most of her baby gear is already becoming obsolete from our home! 

 

Busy Monday

We had a busy Monday of mommy driving all around taking Oliver to his dads and Astrid playing everywhere like crazy. She is so fun and so cute, but mommy is ready to sleep shortly after Astrid goes down. Which is by 8 pm!!! 

 

National Daughter’s Day

According to Facebook, it’s National Daughter’s Day. We had a wonderful day together but the best pictures from today were of mommy’s son and daughter. They’re so sweet together.
