Swim

We were busy with fun and a few errands today. Astrid spent time with Grammie while mommy took a break at the Y. Mommy saw them on a walk when she drove up and it was the cutest thing mommy has seen! After we went swimming. We basically had the pool all to ourselves and it was nice and warm today! When we get into the locker room before swim she kicks and screams with excitement! She’s loving our swim sessions!

People stop in their tracks on the way to the pool or on the way to the adult locker rooms. She loves to say hi! 

 

Monday

 Today was a rest and catch up day. It’s mommy’s first official day of the rest of her parental leave. She’ll go back on January 31st. We enjoyed exercising and playing together, napping but not in her crib until nighttime. That’s what we’re working on; consistent nap routines and times. It’s been fun…Astrid loves to sleep but she loves to cuddle up with mommy. Work in progress!

We had a good weekend too! Mommy was too tired to write the last couple of days. But we had fun at the winery trying to sell our goods. We sold 5 things which is good for a hobby! But it sure was fun hanging with Auntie Jess for the day. Oh and that morning was our last baby-swim lesson and the pool wasn’t heated. It didn’t seem to phase our little fish at all. Mommy and Astrid will be going to family swim time a couple times a week for some fun instead of the class. The class did not provide instruction or fun songs  like big brother Oliver got. 

Sunday was a busy day with just getting things done and going on some nice walks. Oliver came home at night which always seems to amaze Astrid when he just shows up in the hone. 

Eight Months

Little miss busy is eight months old!! We took her pictures in her cute outfit a friend gave us and she didn’t move all over the place until after about 2 minutes. She enjoyed Auntie Jessica’s cornbread from Thanksgiving tonight and we had fun going on a walk with daddy and watching  the smoke in the distance,

Happy Thanksgiving

Astrid had a busy first Thanksgiving. She woke up to her cousins again in the morning and had fun playing and going for a walk with them. We will resume sleeping in her room for naps and night time soon..

We went to Grammies for our Turkey dinner and we’re lucky to have Oliver come with us. Astrid played with all her aunts, uncles, and other sets of cousins. She is a lucky girl!
