Potato

 Mommy doesn’t have any pictures of Astrid. She did lots of cute things today…especially at night when she was trying to extend her nighttime routine. She said she had to wash her face just like mommy does. It’s pretty cute. She splashes water on her face then pats her face dry with a washcloth. So cute!

This potato makes mommy laugh. A funny student brought it to pass around when he presented a state research report on Idaho!! 

Waking Up

Astrid wanted to stay in her cozy bed this morning and read a book. Tonight she doesn’t want to go to bed. She had a good day with Grammie and grandpa, swimmed amazingly well, and played at home. We can hear her talking and whining from her bed…it’s getting less and less. Hopefully she falls asleep and the big girl bed works. 

 

Grandpa Greg & Grandna K Lou

We got to see grandpa Greg and Grandma K Lou for the first time in a long time…Grandoa helped Astrid create a cat out of clay that well enter into the fair!! She was having fun and so happy! Mommy had to do work so K Lou took fun of fun pictures. It was a fun evening!!

 

Playful

Astrid had a good Monday! She was good at school and Grammies. She was wonderful at swim and did a great job!!At home she was very playful-she had both mommy and daddy to her salon, and then eventually she went to bed…after a bit of silly procrastination. 

 

Mother's Day

It was a nice mellow Mother’s Day. Mommy got to run her last super long run before her marathon coming up on June 2nd. Then we hung out at home…getting things done as much as you can with a 3 year old interposing every 5 minutes! We looked at mattresses for Astrid real quick then started putting her hand me down big girl bed together. It’s a work in progress because we have to move around and get rid of furniture. It’s fun! Exciting to see Astrid grow and change!!!
