Hamburgers & Paint

Astrid was so happy making rock hamburgers and eating them in the backyard with Claire that she ran away from nana and screamed when she was forced into the car. They love each other soooo much!

After a successful gymnastics, Astrid came home and painted the rest of the night. Her work was very neat and clean. It was hard to pry her away from it… 

 

Swim Duty

It’s been a busy week. Daddy took swim duty today… first time since before he flew off his bike. Mama needed a break, even though it was to just sit in traffic, go home, fill a few Etsy orders and put Astrid’s clothes away. It was a nice little break. Astrid showed daddy how far she’s come the last month and a half! 

 

Eye Drops

Astrid had a good day at school, it’s Dr. Seuss week! And a great day with Grammie and grandpa. She stayed a little longer because it’s girls on the run time again! At home, Astrid was attempting to put lubricrating eye drops in her eyes after she brushed her teeth. Yesterday she came home and painted her nails with cuticle oil.. she’s the cutest! 

 

Swim , Win and Read

Astrid had a good day, slept well, and swam well! Enjoy the videos of her “racing” after her lesson and reading a book to daddy. The book is one that she must hear at school… mommy read it to her awhile ago but there’s no way she’d remember the relative phrase!

Walk, Win, Window

Astrid had sweet calming/yoga pictures from school that were sent in the app, then this morning she met nana at the window after her short run, then we went for a nice walk to major market, and then we found out oliver won his jiu jitsu tournament match. Mama is proud of him! 

 

Half Marathon and Tents

We had a full day. Mama had a half marathon, Astrid had a morning with daddy & uncle Clayton, mama picked up Astrid at 10:30, but she was already overloaded ! We played the rest of the day at home and she was sweet and wonderful. 

 

Dentist & Teepee

Astrid got to go to her second cleaning at the dentist. She did everything they asked her to do and was amazing! Mama is proud of her. The doctor said her teeth look beautiful. Hopefully we can keep that up!!! In the evening daddy helped put together a teepee we got from a friend , Astrid loves it!
