School, Swim & Gym

Astrid had a busy day and worked hard while also having fun! She went to school, then we played in the pool for over an hour at Katherine’s then gymnastics with Roe in the evening. We won’t be able to do gymnastics in July but will try and come back in August! 

 

Monday

Astrid had a good day at school. This is her last full week of preschool. It feels a little bitter sweet. Mommy has loved what the predict has gone for Astrid’s academics and confidence.

After school we went to the library. We love the library! 

She went to her swim lesson today and then played with her neighbor friends. Fun fun!! 

 

Fathers Day

We enjoyed our drive in daddy’s red truck and Fiesta Island! We didn’t take many pictures but it was a great day!!

 

 

BFF Recital

 Tonight was the big night! We took Astrid to a y nearby to swim, she swam for over an hour then we had her chill out so she wouldn’t waste energy. She did a great job and mommy will post video and sons later when she receives access!!

Dress Rehearsal

 Friday was Adtrid’s dress rehearsal! She did a great job on stage, getting ready and supporting her friends. Pictures to come..  blogger is being funny again. 

Build a Bear

We met Katherine after school at build a bear at fashion valley mall. Astrid used her gift cards from her birthday and took about an hour to decide what she wanted with lots of questions and probing from mommy and Katherine. In the end she created her best friend, Rosie for only $105. Haha! She’s super cute and fun! 

An update on Abe, he’s still getting to know his new roommates. They want to be his friend so bad. It’s taking time but eventually it will happen!

 

 

Y Swim

We tried the y family swim today after mommy got Astrid. We only had 25 minutes of swim but it was worth it. We’ll do it again couple more times this month while mommy has her pass active! 

 

 

Swim

Astrid had a great day at school, played a bunch at home and then went to her summer swim lesson. She’s responding well to the teacher and trying everything that the teacher asks her to do.. it’s great. She just likes to tell the teacher lots of stories..but the teacher is good at redirecting her. Here’s one of the dance photos that wouldn’t upload yesterday. 

 

Dance Photos

We had a lot happen at home.. bird hitting window, roof painting, playing, playing and then off to the neighbors for hair. Then off to get dance photos at her dance studio. Lookout for some cute photos! They’re not uploading now
