Monday

Astrid had the Monday blues for a bit this morning but they were gone once she got to Grammies. She had a great day at school and with Grammie. Astrid keeps talking about a chapter book her teacher is reading, it’s Junie B. Jones. She loves it! Good thing there’s like a million books in the series and mommy has a bunch at school! 

At dance she had a great class and then her friend bought everyone snacks with her own money from her coin purse. It was really sweet!! 

 

Sunday

 Sunday was great. Chores, exercise, rest and play! We went to the beach for awhile with grandpa Greg and grandma K Lou. It’s always nice seeing them!! 

Saturday

We had a mellow Saturday full of play, errands, play dates and more chores. 

 

Ice Cream & Swim

Astrid had a great first week in kindergarten! She seems to love her teacher, her school and is happy to go each morning as Grammie has been reporting. Yay! After school they went to an ice cream social. Astrid ate ice cream with Grammie at the kinder area. Mommy is so happy for the opportunity for Astrid. LCH is a wonderful school.

Mommy took Astrid to the y to swim after she got her. We’re going to try and swim on Fridays as much as we can to keep Astrid in the pool practicing her skills! 

 

G’s

  Astrid had a great day at kindergarten! Her days was full of G’s… gymnastics and games! Gymnastics with Roe was super fun and they’re really working on some great skills. At home she was a little wild and fun, especially playing games with Oliver. 

 

Day Two

Day two of kindergarten went well. Astrid is definitely acting out a little when she gets home but it’s normal. She worked hard at swim lessons and ran to Callin’s backyard. She loves her swim teacher! Mommy got this sweet mug today and tomorrow she has students in her classroom. It’s going to be a great year! 

 

First Day of Kindergarten

Astrid had a wonderful first day of kindergarten! She got ready to say, ate breakfast at Grammies, walked to school with the three of us and went into her new classroom confidently. Mommy told her to be brave and confident and she shook her head yes and hugged mommy. It was a bittersweet day…. Mommy loves Astrid so much!
