Graduation

Oliver is a high school graduate! Mommy is very proud of him for sticking to it even though he didn’t like it. On to the next steps… mommy is helping him figure it out. We had a nice dinner at the Money Pit and will celebrate at sushi soon too! It’s a big day at home too… our new roof started today. Yay!! 

 

 

Memorial Weekend

It was a busy, productive weekend. Mommy ran a race on Sunday morning and had fun checking out a few booths at the street festival afterwards. Then Astrid and mommy got the car washed real nice and while they did that we walked to Starbucks and Grape Day Park. After we came home and mommy did a bunch of chores and then we went to the Cases for dinner… it is always very nice catching up with them and Astrid loves play with the neighbor kids!! 

It was a good weekend!

 

Play

 Saturdays are always fun, productive and restful. We went to strides, dropped off art at the fair, checked out a new swim lesson facility near our house and got a lot done at home. It was a good day! 

Roof

Astrid had a good day at school! She wanted to stay when mommy came to pick her up. We had to go to dance though! For some reason Daddy took Astrid up on the roof and they waved through the living room skylight to mommy. Mommy doesn’t like Astrid up on the roof. She made them come down. We’re getting a new roof next week and we’re sort of exciting! 

 

Dance

Astrid had a great day, napped well at school and loved having Ms. Sam all to herself at dance. On the way home we got stuck in weird traffics on elfin forest. We have no idea what happened but it’s never happened to mommy in the 18 years she’s been driving through there!! Also, enjoy the lovely tent placement mommy ran upon this morning. So weird and hopefully it doesn’t become a common occurrence. 

 

Kinder Assessment

Astrid had her kinder assessment today. She’s excited for her new school in August! She was a little shy at first but got over it quickly and was able to do the work and play they asked her to do once mommy left the room. Phew! She hrr we lord me after at the blood bank. It was her first time sitting with the snack guy and nurses up front. Shr colored and ate ice cream and was happy. Just like her brother always did! It was a nice day! 

 

Toast

Astrid is growing up fast! She’s into taking showers and putting her “beauty products” on afterwards. After she was hungry for toast and got all the items she needed herself. She just needs help turning the knob on the toaster oven. It’s super cute! But crazy she’s growing up so fast!
