Playground

Astrid's had a great day with Grammie and at school. When she got home her brother asked if he could take her to the playground! They’re going to make it a weekly date sort of like their Froyo now that it will be light later.. It was really sweet seeing them together. 

Update on daddy…he’s still hurting really bad. 

Rest Day

 Today we all hung out at home and sort of rested. Oliver went to work but came home to play around 5:30. Mommy exercises, weeded the veggie garden area and did chores inside. Astrid slept in and then played inside for a long time. Daddy sat in his chair all day. He slept and rested. He flew off his bike yesterday pretty bad and definitely broke some ribs, has a sore neck and probably broke his thumb. He won’t go to the ER, so stay tuned. We all went to two parks to play tonight which was a dream for Astrid.

Chucks, Cats & Chores

It was a fun day! Astrid had a birthday party at the Chuck E. Cheese in Oceanside. Then we went for a little walk in downtown Oceanside to get a couple pictures for mommy’s health challenge. Then we came home to do chores! Astrid really just played and then rested. It was a good day but daddy did come home with some possible broken ribs and maybe a punctured lung from a fall on his bike. He should probably go to the host but he doesn’t want to.. yay for us! 

 

Dance

We had a busy day. Mommy went to the courthouse with her 5th graders…it was a great success! Astrid had a productive day at school and the had two dance classes in the evening. Shd got to tryin her dance costume…one of them! There will be one more for magical ballet! She did a great job dancing and loved being with friends. In the video she’s practicing the first part of her recital dance!! 

 

Play

 Astrid was full of energy today! At dance she played with Liliana afterwards. They play so welll…we’ll need to do a play date soon! 

 

 

Dinner & Face Washing

It was a full day of school and work. Mommy started her work’s spring health challenge. She loves earning money and prizes from it! Her smoothie’s picture is for a challenge today and eating at our favorite restaurant with our family is another one. So we went to the money pit! It was yummy, cheap and fun! When we got home Astrid took a bath but then wanted to wash her face with mommy. Mommy had to help her with the right products and was there to answer a lot of questions! 

 

Food

 Astrid had a good day but became a nightmare tonight when she didn’t eat enough food. She sure gets hangry. Mommy is exhausted now. This is a pitiful Astrid in a happy mood after she finally ate. 

Weekend Fun

We had a fun full weekend! Strides, play with friends before we saw the Jr. Theatre play,  “Where the Mountain Meets the Moon” and then more play after…the kids love playing with each other! It’s fun to see how quick Astrid makes friends. We continued to have fun Sunday at home playing, doing chores, and going to the park with daddy to practice riding bikes! 

Monday is now and it was a nice productive day. Mommy literally found $100 in the gutter at the beginning of her room. Crazy!!
