Play

Astrid loves to play. Play at home, play at school, play at dance and before and after if she can with Lilliana and Barbies. She also read the same book again tonight. She’s enjoying reading time… it’s neat listening to her “get” the words! 

 

Cookies and Reading

Mommy has open house tonight so she didn’t get to hang out with Astrid this afternoon. Daddy picked her up and they had a fun afternoon. Mommy didn’t take any pictures either. But we finally made our chocolate chip cookies!! At night we read The Tommy stays up late book again with oliver too. It was sweet and Astrid almost knows all the words !!!!?

 

Reading

 Astrid has been more interested in trying to read some words on her own lately. Last night she helped read a short book and tonight she read it again with daddy. At Grammies she read her a book three times! It’s a lot of fun to watch her grow as a reader! 

Drawing

Astrid had a good day with Grammie and at school. At home she worked on some Astrid. She is using a book that teaches step by step little drawings. Astrid had fun with it tonight? 

 

Weekend

Dance

It’s dance Friday! We got to see Roe today! Yay! And Evy joined our class again too! It was a good day. 

 

Butterfly Release

 We realesed the butterflies when we got home today. The girls were so curios, cute and fun. After Astrid went to dance and it was wonderful 

Math

Mommy brought Astrid to her school’s math night. Astrid doesn’t get the opportunity very much to come and mommy likes sharing her school with Astrid and the students love seeing her. Astrid seems to like numbers and puzzles too! It was ganes by the tutoring place called mathnasium and was great! There’s one by Major Market. Maybe we’ll have to check it out in a couple years!!
