Rest

Today we came home and sort of rested. Thankfully mommy didn’t have to clean up thirds! Daddy had the floor all cleaned up and we did some chores and took some much needed rest. 

 

Catch Up

We had a busy fun weekend. Friday night dance, stroller strides, Shrek play with friends at the Jr Theatre, fun at home and the beach with daddy. Mommy wasn’t great at taking pictures. But it was a great weekend!

Tonight she’s been talking nonstop and made a force they only mommy and daddy can be invited too. 

 

Play

Astrid loves to play. Play at home, play at school, play at dance and before and after if she can with Lilliana and Barbies. She also read the same book again tonight. She’s enjoying reading time… it’s neat listening to her “get” the words! 

 

Cookies and Reading

Mommy has open house tonight so she didn’t get to hang out with Astrid this afternoon. Daddy picked her up and they had a fun afternoon. Mommy didn’t take any pictures either. But we finally made our chocolate chip cookies!! At night we read The Tommy stays up late book again with oliver too. It was sweet and Astrid almost knows all the words !!!!?

 

Reading

 Astrid has been more interested in trying to read some words on her own lately. Last night she helped read a short book and tonight she read it again with daddy. At Grammies she read her a book three times! It’s a lot of fun to watch her grow as a reader! 

Drawing

Astrid had a good day with Grammie and at school. At home she worked on some Astrid. She is using a book that teaches step by step little drawings. Astrid had fun with it tonight? 

 

Weekend

Dance

It’s dance Friday! We got to see Roe today! Yay! And Evy joined our class again too! It was a good day.
