Beauty

Mommy is still not doing a great job of picture taking because she’s busy and also just enjoying the moments. But we had a great valentines eve, grandma K Lou and Grandpa Greg, stroller strides, and visiting the science museum. 

 

Pictures

Mommy isn’t good at taking daily pictures, especially during the work week, and especially since she’s like really old now. She’s going to get better at it. Astrid had a great day. She’s still behind in some of her Valentines but it’ll get better. 

 

Play, Play, Play

Astrid had a good day with Grammie. She was super silly at home but she managed to finish writing her names on her Valentines. She kept getting distracted and playing with a million things. She was building a system with the checkers, zucchini and melon. She was full of energy!!!

 

Dishes

Astrid had a great day at school and with Grammie, grandpa and Shane. Astrid helped daddy with the dishes tonight. She loves doing the dishes and is learning not to complain about it. She did hurt her elbow a little… maybe leaning on the counter? She’s alright now. 

 

Spring

Spring is in the air. Some of mommy’s flowers are starting up bloom and the jasmine is strong! It was a great Monday. Astrid enjoyed school, Grammie and her nap. 

 

Super

We went to Mandy and Tyson’s new home to swim and watch the Super Bowl. We didn’t really watch it, Astrid just had a super fun time with her friends, mommy enjoyed the jacuzzi after a super long run in the morning and it was just a super busy weekend. Now we’ve got to get supercharged and catch up on all the chores around home!! 

 

Birthday Fun

Mommy had a good birthday yesterday. Today we had fun at Astrid’s friend’s party at Aqua Hedionda Lagoon. She got to play with friends, eat snacks, hike a little and see a lot of small animals. It was a fun day! 

 

Thursday

Astrid desperately wanted to get a K-pop demon hunter compact for herself. Mommy said no. She talked daddy into taking her back to the store to get it… but to give to mommy for her birthday. Hmmm. 

 

Routines

Mommy didn’t take any pictures today. She’s still liking Astrid’s school schedule she wrote out with Grammie. Mommy loves that Astrid loves school and routine. 

She had a great day at school and with Grammie. 

 

Schedules

Yesterday Astrid asked Grammie a lot about what would be happening at school each hour she wasn’t there. They wrote out a schedule and Grammie checked it out today and said Astrid was pretty accurate… that’s good. No more missing for Astrid!! At home she went to yogurtland with Oliver and plotted with Oliver to win connect 4 against daddy. It worked a couple of times!
