Weekend Fun

We had a fun full weekend! Strides, play with friends before we saw the Jr. Theatre play,  “Where the Mountain Meets the Moon” and then more play after…the kids love playing with each other! It’s fun to see how quick Astrid makes friends. We continued to have fun Sunday at home playing, doing chores, and going to the park with daddy to practice riding bikes! 

Monday is now and it was a nice productive day. Mommy literally found $100 in the gutter at the beginning of her room. Crazy!!

Hide and Seek

Astrid was playing hide n seek with Roe after dance today. They tricked each other good! She’s been tricking mommy, daddy and Grammie pretty good too! It’s been a long week and we’re ready for home and our own kind of fun. 

Bloom

Mommy only took a picture of Astrid’s flower today. It’s blooming like crazy and has been such a beautiful thing in our window the past couple months! 

Library

 It was a productive day for both of us. Grammie brought Astrid to the coffee shop today and we met Katherine there. Then we walked over to the library. We love the library and love seeing Katherine! 

Tuesday

Astrid had a weird start to the day. She turned herself around atvgrammies and had a great rest of the day. She had fun at school and even wrote that she loved Sav… which mommy questioned because they got in a fight. It’s  like teenage stuff!!! 

Routine

It’s back to our regular routine. Astrid cried a little this morning when she realized mommy was going back to work. But everything turned out fine… she loved being with Grammie again and they even got to watch Claire at the high school playing field hockey. Fun!! Tonight Astrid was having fun putting a toy together from the chocolate egg. She loves to read the directions and put the toys together. 

We’re already missing Oliver who left today. Astrid was having a lot of fun with him yesterday. 

 

The New Children’s Museum

We had a fantastic Sunday. We slept in. Played, exercised, bought a new washing machine and went to Lowell’s 5th birthday party at the New Children’s museum in downtown San Diego. It was super fun and we’ll be back! We’ve never been there!
