Swim

Astrid had a great day at school and a restful cuddle time with Grammie. She had her last swim lesson with Cailin tonight. She’s going back to college and will come home again in May. Astrid will hopefully do lessons again with her. But for now we’re going to try and swim most Fridays to keep up Astrids momentum! She’s doing a great job and is totally confident in the water by herself! Yay! 

She got to do the slide one time for her last lesson. She LOVED it!!

 

Chucks

Astrid had a good day at school! Mommy went with Grammie to pick her up. It was nice seeing how it all works. Daddy hurt himself bad on his bike this morning so mommy left work to make sure he was ok. Of course he wouldn’t go to the doctor but he’s definitely got a concussion, broken ribs and probably a broken toe or two. He’ll probably be ok. 

We got to see Indy, Wyatt and Jen at chuckee cheeses for dinner. They gave us Indy’s soccer stuff because Astyy Ty I’d will be starting soccer next week!! Yay! 

 

 

Sunday

 

Hot

It was a HOT Saturday!! Astrid played inside all day until the evening when she came out to play soccer for a few minutes. We all need days like those sometimes! Mommy met Eileen on Grand in Escondido to lister to an early release of Sara’s new album. It was pretty cool and was in a Newish record store. 

 

Friday Swim

We had a great Friday and an even better Friday swim. Astrid loves seeing Katherine and her pool! After she had fun at home playing around with daddy. 

 

Gymnastics

Astrid had a great day at school. She’s been busy fell and scraped her hands and knee at Grammies. She’s powering through gymnastics now.. but the little cat nap she took on the way home may be helping this sweet girl. 

 

Wednesday

 Astrid had a great Tuesday. She’s been busy making lots of messy forts on her bed. Once again her room is a mess. 

Junie B. Jones

Astrid got a whole stack of Junie B. Jokes books from mommy’s school librarian. She was ready to take th out of circulation and bam!!! Astrid gets them! We’re going to start reading a beauty shop one right now. No pictures because mommy can’t upload right now. It was a good Tuesday!

Monday

Astrid had the Monday blues for a bit this morning but they were gone once she got to Grammies. She had a great day at school and with Grammie. Astrid keeps talking about a chapter book her teacher is reading, it’s Junie B. Jones. She loves it! Good thing there’s like a million books in the series and mommy has a bunch at school! 

At dance she had a great class and then her friend bought everyone snacks with her own money from her coin purse. It was really sweet!! 

 

Sunday

 Sunday was great. Chores, exercise, rest and play! We went to the beach for awhile with grandpa Greg and grandma K Lou. It’s always nice seeing them!!
