Swim Breakthrough & Dinner

Astrid had a great day. School, Grammie, ice cream play again, swim and then a restaurant on the way home with daddy and mommy. Astrid is trying to jump in the water on her own but struggling.  Watching har was fun! At play swim

She was putting her face under. After we ate yummy food at Oscars. Mommy has fallen asleep twice writing this., 

 

Cookies and Dancing

We danced and made cookies tonight. The dancing was for a picture for mommy’s health challenge at work. The cookies were for fun and we had so much fun! 

 

Swim & Mistletoe

Astrid swam her heart out this evening. She choked a little when going under but is learning the skills to recover. Afterwards she played leap frog in the water. She’s getting brave and having fun!

Ice Cream

Mommy’s training for a marathon again, she had an active day… daddy too. He’s working on it! Maddie and Ellie gave Astrid their ice cream cart. Astrid plays with it non stop! She’s going to bring it to Grammies today! Get ready for some ice cream Grammie! 

 

Friends

Astrid had a busy day with friends. We played at strides, made our way to the playground, and then to Maddie and Ellie’s. She played with them while mommy went home and had some time to herself to get things done! When mommy vane home she was cuddled with daddy on the couch watching stuff on his phone, she had taken a good nap. Mommy is writing this so late/early in the morning because Astral just woke up to go potty then fussed a little to go back down. Mommy needs to go back to sleep now!

 

Sesame Place & Press on Nails

Got the pictures downloaded! Sesame Place was so much fun, we all enjoyed it! We’ll be back since we have season passes for the rest of the year and all of 2024! Astrid slept on the way home for a long time but when mommy brought her inside she had a major meltdown. She had been gone all day but the stimulation of being among all her favorite characters may have gotten to her. She calmed down after a bit by watercoloring in the Bernadette room quietly by herself for awhile and the. Building legos with daddy. It was a fun day!
