Soup, Burritos, Bubbles

 Astrid loves any soup Grammie makes, especially those with lentils…which is what Astrid is insisting Grammie feed to her She loved bathtime and especially liked her burrito at the Mexican joint in west 13th.

Doctors and Dentist

Astrid had her two year old check up this morning. Daddy went with us since the last time he went was at four days old. Unfortunately he missed all the times.. every three months.. until two weeks ago .. where Astrid was all cute and lovey. Oh well, he can look back at the blog for pictures. Now she’s a screaming, nightmare ness. Just list yesterday at the dentist. Hopefully this is just a stage. Luckily, she’s healthy and normal. Mommy went to the dentist later and Oliver came over to play while she was away and daddy was at work. That made Astrid very happy. 

 

Dentist and Lunch

Mommy went to work for a couple hours this morning for a meeting and then picked up Astrid early so she could take her to the dentist. Astrid has some staining on her front teeth that we don’t know where it’s coming from…the dentist said it scratches off easily and won’t harm her. When she’s able to relax he will clean it. She is scared as soon as she walks into a healthcare building. It seems like her 18 month shots and her prior blood draws for iron levels scared her and made her quite the feisty one. Mommy is relieved her teeth are fine and will watch on what it may be.

Afterwards we ate lunch together and Astrid took a good nap at home. We’re off to the doctor tomorrow!

 

Big Bird & Gus

We reached 300 miles in our Sesame Street challenge..Astrid opened the big bird pin! She loved putting it on the ribbon. She had an awesome day at Grammies and got to hang with Claire and Shane.She played at home.. we love daylights saving time! Then when it was time for bed we read a new book..and Astrid insisted she go to sleep with Gus’s picture. He’s our neighbor dog and they love each other so much! 

 

 

Bye Bye

Astrid helped her Auntie Marie yo her rental car this morning. She was happy to spend time with her and glad that she was able to come to her birthday party all the way from Connecticut! The rest of our day was filled with routine which felt great after a long week of party prep and party! 

Enjoy the pictures Auntie Jess took of Astrid and Oliver in the bouncy house. Mommy was smitten with both her kids yesterday.
