Astrid woke up this morning and mama and daddy were both gone. Mama had a race and 6 extra miles to run while daddy went to the desert to drive his truck. Oliver came over early to babysit. Astrid knew he’d be there in the morning and she was happy. She played a lot, walked to the donut shop, and played more. We got Oliver wings asked Astrid breadsticks at a hole in the wall Mexican grocery. We’ve been once before. Astrid wanted the cheesiest toy ever.. mama said no, but her sucker brother was happy to buy it for her. It was really cute. The mess they left at home from the morning wasn’t really cute.
