Mommy was listening to a staff meeting on zoom when she got to Grammie’s to pick up Astrid. We hung out outside and in while listening. Astrid is such a playful, busy girl. Mommy’s birthday continues… the kids at school keep bringing mommy little gifts, but today, a very loving, heroes mom brought mommy a big pot of posale! She used to make it for all the teachers before covid and it’s always been mommy’s favorite treat at school. She also brought delicious chips and homemade salsa! And the most beautiful bouquet of flowers! Mommy felt so appreciated.
And now for the blog part! Claire discovered Astrid’s blog on Grammie’s computer. She kept looking through it. I told her she’s in it a lot and also in Oliver’s blog. Mommy opened up both his blogs for her. Claire found out that anytime she went on an adventure with Aunt Mere it was most likely in the blog. Mommy loves to document! We looked up the blogs in June 2012 and wouldn’t you know it…there was a blog post celebrating her birth with behind the scene photos and everything! Same with Shane’s birth. Mommy is glad that she was enjoying it. Oliver doesn’t yet. Maybe he will one day? No matter what…it’s something that is special to mommy and helps her fall asleep at night….except last night! Mommy fell asleep before she could post! Enjoy the sleeping picture of Astrid in her purple outfit from yesterday!
