Astrid and mommy did window watching and bodypump early in the morning, then went swimming, and Astrid to Grammies. She napped well there and then played when mommy got back. In the evening Astrid had her first babysitter (besides Grammie)…Julia our neighbor. She’s going away to USC on Thursday so we figured we’d try a date night before she goes away to study. Astrid cried most of the time, but ate, played and cuddled. We were only gone for 2.5 hours and had a wonderful fancy dinner at Vintana a mile from our home. Mommy kept her phone by her side to snap a pic of daddy but really the chandelier, our front and center window seat and to answer right away if Julia called. Date night was good for all of us!
