We had a fun weekend. Mommy went to bed early both nights when Astrid went down so didn’t write. Now she can’t sleep! Ugh.
Astrid helped mommy run 10 miles in Grammie’s quiet neighborhood yesterday after we dropped Oliver off at the lagoon. We enjoyed seeing Grammie for a bit too. Later Astrid helped Mommt donate blood. She sat in her car seat which she normally doesn’t do and she was wonderful. She was a big hit with the nurses. Mommy donates every 8 weeks so they’ll get to see Astrid grow up, just like they watched Oliver grow up!
Sunday we had a mellow morning with our napping run and walk. Then some neighbors came by to take part in our impromptu Graham cracker house decorating and a walk over to a block party on Russell Street. It’s always nice meeting neighbors. We are lucky to live in a neighborhood with so many genuine, nice people.
