1st Babysitters

Today was a big day for mommy and Astrid.  Astrid was babysat by Grammie and Claire...it's her first time being babysat by anyone but Daddy.  Mommy was able to go to the Y....for the first time in over a year.  It felt soooooo good!  Even though mommy has all the equipment and motivation she needs at home, the Y is good for challenging mommy and for seeing friends.  Plus, we'll be able to use the pool when Astrid is four months old!

Grammie and Claire babysat Astrid, Shane and Grandpa helped a little too.  Astrid was happy, napped, drank five ounces of milk, took a poopy, and cried a little until Claire played music for her.  Mommy is grateful to have such wonderful babysitters! And Astrid is one lucky girl!

Guess who lost his front teeth!?!

He likes to put his tongue between his teeth!

Sweet girls.

Showing off for everyone.  She loves to stretch her arms out!

And hold hands with people she loves.

Here's mommy's favorite hallway.  It's
quiet right now and not like it used to be, but
hopefully that changes soon with the opening
up of everything in California on June 15th.

Claire staying with Astrid while mommy
packed up.  Its taking a bit of an adjustment
that mommy can't just go places fast anymore.

Look at that sweet, glowing face.  Oh yeah, she wrote the
most amazing poem for Astrid.  Mommy will write a
blog post about it later!
