Friday

This afternoon was full of productivity at home and mommy did y get any new pictures. Astrid helped mommy get things from the shed, do laundry, go on our family .60 mile walk, bake gingerbread cookies because we read the gingerbread man book yesterday at the library and now she is resisting sleep and playing her daddy. Mommy is sure she’ll have to take over in a minute but for now she’s trying to get rest. 

This picture is from last night when she was helping mommy with her daily wall Pilates. It’s a great mix of strength and stretch and fun to do with Astrid nearby! 

 

Learning

Astrid has a full day of learning! Always learning with Grammie and grandpa! Hanging with Shane. School, books, puzzles and more! She had fun visiting the library when mommy picked her up. We did a 70 piece USA puzzle with another girl when we should have started heating out. But it was so good for the girls and a great learning experience. So we left at 6:00!! But mommy sure is proud of how Astrid interacts with other kids and how she is a puzzle problem solver! 

 

 

Bedtime

Astrid had a great day. She’s still trying to postpone bedtime for as long as she can. She’s enjoying putting off going to

by putting  on all her makeup. Sigh. We need to figure out a batter routine. 

 

Dance Time

Today was a good Tuesday. School, nap at Grammies which she loves, dance which she acted like she didn’t want to go into but then happily did, and a good evening at home with mommy and daddy.

The picture of the bathroom is important. The last couple times we’ve been Astrid likes to go in alone to use the restroom. She takes off her leotard, gets on the toilet with a step stool, wipes and washes her hands all by herself! It’s pretty cute and also shows she doesn’t really need help at home but always insists she does!!!

Monday

Astrid had a good day at school, she didn’t nap but she did enjoy the Safari Walk her teachers took her on, her special gymnastics pull out and just being at school. She did well at swim… her teacher is leaving for school so we’ll get another new teacher. Well see how this one goes!! It was a good day!!

 

Sunday

Walk to major market, we saw a paint guy cleaning off the summer pictures and getting ready to paint the fall pictures! Happy first day of fall! We had fun going to Costco with grandpa, mommy eating samples, and finding some deals! Astrid wore her dance costumes all day hung out with her cats and oliver on her deck this evening. It was a good day! 

 

 

Saturday

Strides, dance costume sale, zoo base camp and mommy babysitting night while the adults went out to dinner for Uncle Clayton’s birthday. Fun day!
