Getting Out

Mommy planned some full days at home because over there next few weeks we’ll be racing at the fair, going camping, going to Indiana, plus a few other appointments, etc. But… Astrid loves to get out. She climbs in her stroller a lot and loves to say goodbye to daddy and get in the car. So, we went to kohls and Walmart for a little bit…and she was a happy shopper. Later we went for a walk…she had to help daddy fix our tires again. We popped two on our run this morning.  It’s ridiculous, Mommy is running over thorns..that she can’t see and we’ve already been through about six tubes for our wheels. Sigh. It’s got to STOP! 

Staying at home means dancing and watching 

Sesame Street occasionally throughout the day. 

 

Helping Daddy & Beach Play

Astrid started the morning with helping her dad put air in stroller tires and later putting her art easel together.  After a nice nap she enjoyed playing in the water at fiesta island with her daddy and nana while mommy watched and picked up nails from the sand. Gross. Fires are only allowed in designated pits.. we did not park near a designated pit, which means someone most likely burned up something with a lot of nails and didn’t pick up after themselves.

Climbing & Organizing

Astrid is doing a bit of climbing and organizing.!And occasionally screaming. Mommy loves her but the screaming has got to turn into nicely spoken words. Our goal for the summer! 

 

Busy, Busy

Popping bubbles, watching mommy donate blood, taking a good nap, swimming with her cousins…it’s been a busy day for this 15 month old!
