Kisses and Unicorns

 It’s Friday! All we got a picture of was tired mommy kissing a sweet, clean unicorn. Thank goodness for Grammies, unicorns, and weekends. 

Bath Time

Full Day

Today was a full day…big brother helping a lot in the morning, big water main break in front of our one

Hone and squawking parrots,  daddy milk pick up in the morning, daddy day care/working, Grammie and Astrid after dentist appointment, mommy and Astrid running 5 miles early, and Astrid falling asleep with Mr. Elephant in her crib. More on Mr. Elephant later! Now let’s see if mom can get any  sleep tonight. 

 

Hurt and Target

This morning we accidentally hurt Astrid. Her fingers got stuck in the shower door while daddy was holding her and mommy was getting out of the shower. She was pretty sad and stayed sad at Grammies for a little while. We are so sorry baby girl. No more hands near our new shower doors…the other one exploded behind mommy when she was nine months pregnant. Shower doors and Astrid/mommy don’t mix well.

This evening we went to Target for like the 8th million time in two weeks. We had to go in this time though. Not just use drive up! Astrid absolutely loves Target and squeaks with delight all over the store. She makes a lot of people smile! She picked out sippy cups to start practicing holding and maybe drinking a little milk if mommy can pump enough!!

Grammie said today was the first Monday that Astrid didn’t make a pout pout face after her daddy left her in the morning. We’ve reached a milestone! Yahoo!! 

 

One of those Days

It’s been one of those weekend days. We got a lot done but mommy didn’t take many pictures.

Yay!!

Astrid and mommy are both excited that we found an affordable gardener to work on keeping our yard up to par. It’s been in decline the last year while mommy was pregnant and had Astrid. We’ll get it back to beautiful soon. Mommy was just busy following her heart to grow a baby instead of her garden. 

 

Cruisin’ Grand

Astrid experience mommy’s love of old cars and kettle korn tonight. More pictures to come from daddy’s phone. Mommy fell asleep before everything could load. Exhausted Fridays are a thing again because she’s back teaching! 

 

Carrots

Our little girl had a good day with Grammie, just a little fussy in the afternoon but happy when mommy got there. Grammie said Astrid ate her big girl food well and tonight she did too! She loves carrots! Daddy said carrots to help bring out her ginger…haha! Her ginger is definitely showing in her hair! Enjoy messy eating pictures! 

 

 

Nails

 It was one of those days…busy, busy…mommy didn’t take any pictures of Astrid until now. She’s asleep on the boppy, content. So mommy cut her little nails. They grow so fast just like her!

We got someone’s first Halloween costume in the mail today. We tried on part of it..any guesses of what she will be?
