Swim at the Y

Mommy and Astrid met Juliet and Lowell at the La Jolla Y for some fun swimming and splash pad play. We haven’t been since Astrid was a baby…definitely going back!!

 

Sunny Saturday

It was a beautiful day to go to stroller strides in balboa park. We had a good time with friends, walking in the city afterwards to get coffee then back to the park to pick up our prize from the Spanish village! We won a raffle last weekend when Astrid painted ornaments. It’s the pretty painting below with the tower in the background! Enjoy the pictures of Astrid from her school app too! 

 

 

Friday

We’re so happy it’s Friday! Mommy didn’t get any pictures of Astrid but she got a couple of the beach and the Oceanside pier when she got to walk there after a meeting ended early. It’s so weird to see nothing at the end of the pier, mommy hasn’t seen it since the fire. Even though she works RIGHT there!! 

 

Hugs

Astrid had a great day at school and with Grammie. She had a magical ballet class tonight which she loved! Before we left, Oliver came home from work and she ran to him for hugs. She’s the sweetest little sister. 

The last picture is something that happened by Oliver’s work. Mommy hopes everything will be ok and that it never happens at Olivers work. 

 

Swim

Astrid had a good day at school, with Grammie and for a short time after her nap with Shane. We swam with Katherine at her pool and it was so nice! Mommy can finally go in a pool!! Astrid showed off her new swimming skills and confidence to Katherine! 

 

 

Back to the Grind

It was back to work and school! We had a great day. Astrid slept well at Grammies, learned something new at swim and is sleeping with George now. It was a good day! 

Mommy didn’t take pictures again. She’ll get better about that! 

 

Monday

Mommy didn’t take any pictures today. These were from Saturday when mommy was doing errands. Maddie and Ellie came over in the morning to play while the guys rode bikes. It was a fun weekend. Mommy is soooo ire’s!

Sunday

Sunday was perfectly mellow. Exactly what we needed! Astrid and mommy walked to Major Market and Astrid helped Oliver checkout customers. So cute!
