Pumpkin Patch

We went to get a pumpkin and have some fun at the pumpkin patch off Highland Valley Way. It’s beautiful out there and only takes a few minutes to get there! We rode on the tractor, Astrid on the train, fed the goats which mommy must be allergic to something over that way because she started having itchy eyes, itchy burning nose and just a weird feeling! It was fun and quiet since it was a week night. We may be back since the tickets never expire. Too bad we can’t find the ones from last year! Mommy was able to take a fun picture for her school challenge holding a postcard and also below is a crazy crash that we saw near our home. People need to slow down! 

 

Star of the Week

Astrid is star of the week! She shared her doll at sharing time and her poster. Mommy will post a video later this week. Astrid is very happy to be the center of attention. She’s fighting sleep right now and trying to postpone bedtime and it’s not super star of the week behavior. 

 

Sunday

We had a busy day today at home. We did lots of chores, went for a nice walk and we got to see Oliver Y work, and Astrid took a great nap so mommy could do a lot more chores. Daddy went to hang out with his friends. It was a really nice productive day and mommy didn’t get any pictures!

First Slurpee

Mommy let Astrid have her first slurpee today. We got gas at 7/11 and mommy has been telling  her it’s only for special occasions. A Friday is a special occasion sometimes. She was so happy. Hardly drank any of it. Mommy stored it away in case Astrid remembers. For now we’re all happy with the outcome! 

 

Dance, Cupcakes & Pumpkins

Good day at school, good day with Grammie, good dance class with Ms. Perris, pumpkin patch at sprouts grocery store, and a cupcake on the way home from Grammies. The cupcake was homemade by mommy’s teaching partner and Astrid asked if she could make more!! So cute. 

 

Wednesday

It was a nice productive day for everyone. This is a picture of Astrid at school from the app they use to send pictures. Look at my little reader. Take a peek at Astrid in the tub and her curriculum that her teachers send out every Monday. 

 

Seeds

We had a nice evening at home. We put the seeds in our starter cups and Astrid watered them. George knocked some over but we were all happy. She had a good day at school and with Grammie. Mommy is doing the fall health challenge at work so that’s what those silly pictures are for… don’t think they’ll accept daddy photo bombing. Go Padres! 

 

 

Monday

Astrid had a great day at school. Mommy forgot to pick her up there and went to Grammies instead. Oops. So spacey!!! Astrid did just ok at swim. It’s another new teacher so thinking we’ll be taking a break after this session. She was starving on the way to swim..she was cute munching her food in the car and then super cute and fun playing with oliver when he got home from work. They were chasing each other around. We’ll miss him he left for his dads tonight. 

 

Sunday

We had a nice day at home. Sleeping in…mommy needed it bad, walk with a fun find on the road behind major market.. praying mantis, visiting Major Market and Oliver, a good nap,  a little play at the park. And crazy play with big brother when she should have been going to bed.
