Strides & Friends

We had a wonderful morning exercising, playing, seeing friends, and riding the train at Balboa Park. On our way home we stopped at Maddie and Ellie’s house to play on their new water bouncy. Astrid loved it! We’re looking forward to her swim lessons finally starting on Monday so she can start feeling even more comfortable and confident in the water! 

 

Harmony Grove Park

Astrid had another great day at school and Grammies. On the way home we met Oliver for a little bit to play. Astrid loves playing with her big brother. It’s nice to be able to meet him at the park. We miss him. 

 

Disney & Ice Cream

Astrid had a good day at school and with Grammie and papa. At home we played outside for awhile, inside, and had a Disney movie night with a little ice cream. Daddy isn’t feeling well and wanted some ice cream. Astrid remembers all about ice cream and cones from park so she was happy to go to the store with mommy to pick it up. And then eat  a tiny bit at home while we watched Frozen. Everyone is trying to go to sleep now. Astrid has definitely been trying to push the sleep boundaries lately at home.

Mommy just had to zoom in on the pretty face. 

 

Horsey

Astrid had a good day at school and at Grammie and papa’s home. She played a bunch at home and before bed she played horsey with daddy. They always do that before she brushes her teeth, reads a book and goes to bed. Some nights they get crazy and of course it makes it harder for mommy to put her to bed. Oh well, she’s pretty cute when she plays horsey. 

She was also taking selfies with her foot if you can see through the blur. 

 

Papa Playtime

Astrid loves playing with “papa” when she wakes up from her naps. She calls him “papa” and it’s pretty cute! Sure was busy playing with a car and bridge. She’s always got something going on and loves her Grammie and papa.
