Sweet

We attended one of the biggest turn outs of stroller strides we’ve ever seen this morning, had fun playing at the end, watched a bubble man, ate a cookie, took a good nap at home and had a nice family evening together. It was a nice Saturday! 

 

Big Day

Astrid had a big day. She got to see her beloved Grammie and go for a long walk/adventure. First we stopped at Astrid’s preschool!! She’ll start in April and oh boy is she ready! She loved the classroom and the playground and the kids! Astrid loves kids! Mommy is reading through all the to dos and getting the 23 pages of forms ready to fill out. It’s a lot but we’re so excited! We only took one picture because she was always around others but stay tuned for tales from prek.

The rest of the walk was undie shopping and lunch at Panera. Then home for a good nap and then play in the endless laundry. She made a fort with it while mommy made dinner from broccoli and cauliflower from our garden. Then she played in the hamper. She was completely done by 8:00. It was a big day! 

 

Undies and Disney

Astrid “finished” watching Tangled with mommy, she’s getting into Disney a little more with some help! Layer ste tried on her new undies but then put  them all on her arms. We’ll get it!! She also posed for the camera when it was in selfie mode…she’s got all the right moves!

We also had a fun adventure to Balboa Patk for stroller strides today.. it was rainy and so much fun!

Little Butt

Astrid had one of those off mornings…but as soon as she took a really long nap she was fine. Mommy didn’t get any pictures except of her cute little butt at bathtime. She was also trying to clean the soap scum off the glass doors that her brother never cleans after his showers. Thank you Astrid! 

 

Chocolate Thief

Astrid took chocolate off the shelf at Rite Aud when mommy was looking at Christmas wrapping paper. She opened it and has eaten the head off by the time mommy figured out what was going on. We’ve got to keep an eye on that sweet tooth….

Oliver thought this was a pretty funny story when mommy picked him up from school and told him. Sigh. 

 

Family Day & Goals

It’s been a busy day full of family and a special goal. We had breakfast with grandpa, grandma, the Van Velsir sand briefly met great aunt and uncle Van Velsir. Grandma and grandpa came over for the rest of the day and helped daddy put the truck away and mommy put the Christmas away. Astrid played like crazy, took a great nap, and had fun with her presents. Oliver was busy with friends today but Astrid gave him the best hug when he came home! Pictures to come soon.

The pictures of Ellie and her fit it are messages she had her mom send mommy. She got a Fitbit for Christmas and reached her 10,000 goal! Mommy is proud of her! Ellie use to wear mommy’s old fit it around when she was a little tot. She’s the cutest!!
