Weekend Fun

Our weekend was full of running and fun. Astrid and I had fun racing together on Saturday. We’re still challenging mommy. She was 41 seconds slower than last months 5k but there were a few steep hills in this one! We were 3 minutes faster than last year. This was Astrid’s first race ever. Mommy is saving the shirts for her to wear to bed! On Sunday we met nana at Fiesta Island. She’s moving to Hawaii for 6 months to a year so hopefully we get to see her a couple more times before she leaves.  The beach was fun a d very quiet. 

 

That Time of Year

It’s finally that time of year… corduroy jumpers, blue eyed girls, long sleeves, cute perfect gray haired Grammies, Hallmark dancing & singing snowmen.. what more could we ask for in October?!   

 

Sequence of Events

Astrid is as busy as can be at Grammie and grandpas. This afternoon she was trying to hang with Shane while he had tablet time but he wasn’t into it. Claire let her play with play dough she found and grandpa helped her close the lid properly. Astrid loves to learn new things and absolutely loves containers. We may need to get some play dough for home to have some creative time with it! 

 

No Pictures

Mommy could have gotten a ton of cute pictures today but her phone was never with her. Astrid had to touch each of our pictures when she left Grammie and Grandpa’s. Then at home she played outside and with her brother a bunch. Don’t worry she didn’t play with that dangerous spider… mommy made daddy kill it yesterday. But Astrid will be helping mommy try out a few new seeds we got in the mail today. We need to try some new veggies in the garden! Maybe bok Choy?!
