Tuesday

Astrid and Claire were hanging out in the living room today. Mommy showed her mommy and Aunt Jessica’s senior pictures. Plus Olivers framed baby picture. Astrid seemed interested and pointed and looked at all of them. She’s just the cutest. They were busy doing art and Astrid was trying to get into Claire’s big girl things…Whenever Astrid sees girls Claire’s age she’s very interested in them. It’s super cute! 

 

Busy Girl

Astrid had a busy day. She was happy and slept a long time at Grammies. Her sleep seems back to normal. She came home and was busy playing with her Jeep, cats, her brother, her new stroller, and daddy. She only engaged with mommy when she was hungry or sleepy, silly girl! 

 

Helper

Astrid helped mommy a lot today. In the evening she helped mix all the essentials for meatloaf into a bowl to stir. She also helped mommy on our run/long walk and then can home to push her stroller! Mommy wishes she could help clean the countertops each night! That would be wonderful. 

 

The Bay & the Stroller

Mommy finished her half marathon faster than she expected and then she got to walk part way towards her car and the start line. Daddy and Astrid were late picking her up! It’s ok, mommy likes to explore Pacific Beach. When they got her, Astrid was in her car seat happy as a clam in just her diaper. So glad her early morning wake up didn’t effect her too bad. Mommy had to take a 30 minute cat nap at Astrid’s nap time to make up for being awake at 3:30 then running. After she played at the De Anza Cove playground we went to an estate sale in San Marcos. Mommy can’t pass up an opportunity to get over 50 or more patterns. We got some great ones and Astrid got an American Girl baby, stroller, and crib. She’s been pushing the stroller everywhere! Even running with it… mommy wonders why?! 

We also had a lovely girl lunch date at Panera. We were both starving. She ate a ton and mommy devoured her salad. 

 

Pattern

Mommy fell asleep before she could write last night… but she’s up early. Astrid has been up since 3:30 am. Not sure what’s going on but she’s been helping mommy get ready for her half marathon she’s running in an hour in Pacific Beach. Daddy tried to get her to sleep earlier but nothing is working. It should be a fun day! Maybe we’ll all get a good nap later.
