Tuning Back In

 It’s been a busy couple of days. Astrid is crawling. Not on both knees but with one leg for now. She made the biggest mess today in the living room while mommy was trying to work on report cards. She’s getting into everything and she loves it!! She even tries to run/crawl away from mommy sometimes! Uh oh! We’re still working on naps. Today when mommy tried to transfer her from stroller to arms to crib—-Astrid just laughed and smiled. See cute picture below.

At dinner mommy steamed her broccoli and she shoveled it in. She loves to feed herself and will eat just about anything! Thank goodness!

Saturday

We had a busy Saturday. Full of play, running, walking…napping, picking up our race Santa suit for next weekend, Astrid seeing a big old Santa for the first time, more play with Maddie & Ellie, oh and since the pictures always load out of order..play with cousins and auntie in the morning. It was a good day. 

 

Busy Busy

We’ve been busy trying to get on a napping schedule. So far so okay. Daddy though needs to learn to be quiet outside your room….and not argue the importance of it.

Astrid loves swimming in the morning with the pool mostly to ourselves, hanging and napping with Grammie, trying to get into the Hallmark ornament tub, and pinto beans! She can’t get enough of pinto beans! 

 

Etsy

 Mommy and Astrid went on an adventure today. We drove up to Costa Mesa to go to an estate sale that was supposed to have tons of sewing Notions and patterns. We went the second day of the sale but we got what we wanted and more! For only $42! It took us awhile to gather but we had fun. Had to take a nursing break before we checked out and there was an interesting gnarled tree out front. The whole house was interesting and had so much old stuff. It was three families households goods combined. Mommy is glad she went! Astrid is a good Etsy shop helper! 

Astrid also loved eating the beans, rice, and a little cheese from mommy’s El Pollo Loco BRC. She’s really be joying eating almost anything! She also enjoyed her brother tonight.
