Feet

 Did you know Astrid’s feet smell super bad? Only when she wears her new unicorn shoes. Yuck! She decided she wanted me to take a picture of her foot. Fun! 

Arts and Crafts

Astrid had a great day at school and with Grammie as usual. She came home and made play dough trees on her arts and crafts table as daddy called it. Mommy calls it a messy table that needs to be organized. Astrid wouldn’t let mommy hang out with them but she did cuddle later. 

Mommy also took some flower bloom pictures. More to come! The lilies are finally blooming! 

 

 

Sunday

It was a great day. Astrid wanted to run with mommy… we did 4 miles which isn’t easy pushing a 35 pound 4 year old!! Afterwards Astrid went with Daddy to play with Maddie and Ellie for a bit. Astrid is always ready to go when she’s going there!! She was doing wall Pilates with mommy and she got up and said “I have to go!” But still didn’t leave for about 20 minutes. So cute! We went to the playground tonight but daddy has those pictures on his phone. Mommy will add someday this week! 

 

Saturday

Thank goodness for a slow Saturday. We went to strides and then the zoo today. Mommy forgot her phone so no cool pictures. We got to put the chickens away tonight. We saw Abe over there…little booger!!

 

Friday!

Yay! It’s Friday! We had a busy, productive week. Mommy was excited to wash away some of the stress in the pool with Astrid. She looked through a set of doors and said it’s closed!! There was a sign that said, “pool closed!” She was right! Oh well..we tried. Mommy changed into her comfy clothes and then Astrid played on the playground for a bit. We love the Y but wish there was an alert system for closures like that!! 

 

Thursday

It was just a normal Thursday. Astrid hid from Mommy when she picked her up…she’s a funny girl.   Enjoy theses pics from the school app. Mommy didn’t take any pictures today. 

 

Chickens

Astrid had a good day. She went to her first swim lesson at a new teachers house in her personal pool. Astrid was a bit shy and uneasy but mommy thinks she’ll gain her confidence and get comfortable with the teacher in no fine. Mommy will still take Astrid to the YMCA on Fridays when she can. 

Afterwards we went to put Andrea’s chickens away for the night. One girl was being stubborn and we had to call daddy for help. As soon as he came up she went in before he got to the coop. It was fun! The home isn’t fun though. Mommy put some pictures to document. The home will be back eventually. And hopefully the windows above don’t change much. Mommy has always found comfort in them. 

 

Earth Day

Happy Earth Day! Mommy went to Crystal Cove state park for a field trip. It was beautiful. We had chipotle for dinner. Mommy had little to eat because squirrels but a hole in her backpack and got her healthy 30 day challenge food. It’s day 22 so not eating was fine. But come dinner she was starving! Astrid reused her tray and put her dinosaurs on it. She’s such a goofball! She’s learning about planet earth at school! 

 

Lazy

Mommy has been lazy with the blog lately. Maybe on a long bus ride she can update some of the blogs she said she’d update. Today she o my took pictures of this cat at 7 am in our sunflowers. She doesn’t know whose cat it is and she thinks we should still be looking for our neighbors cat but she’s afraid to ask. Astrid had a wonderful day as usual:
