Swim

We went to swim at the Y after school. Astrid had so much fun and works so hard at her swimming. 

 

Play

Astrid loves to play. Shes always doing something at Grammie and grandpas house. She played and learned dance with her friends tonight and then came home to play like crazy in the bathtub!!! After she got out her legos and built buildings for a long time. 

 

Cooking

Astrid had a good day and napped well. She was cooking in her kitchen at Grammies when mommy came to get her. She was making soup and even had an apron on!’

At home she wanted to help mom with chili making. Mommy will enter her chili in the chili cook off at school tomorrow!! 

 

Sleep

Mommy is sleepy, daddy is laying with Astrid, she must finally be sleeping. It was a nice, productive day. These pictures are from Sunday night—Mommy wasn’t very productive with the camera. 

 

“ I Already Told You…”

Mommy asked Astrid which shoes she wore today because she kept talking about how her feet smelled. When mommy asked in the house Astrid said, “ I Already Told You in the car!!” Daddy and Oliver both heard and we were all sort of laughing but going oh geez… 

Mommy took both kids to party city. It’s going out of business so we went to get some plates/napkins for upcoming parties and mommy told Astrid she could get a costume. They’re 75% off! Mommy also found pig stuff that she could use every year when she’s teaching a mock trial… which is this week! It’s perfect!! Astrid was happy with her costumes and Oliver with the chocolate he found. Mommy was happy with the sunrise this morning.

Birthdays

We had a busy day full of strides and birthdays! Astrid’s friend, Lowell turned 4 and everyone celebrated him at strides. Then we went to her friend, Savannah’s party by Grammies. She had fun playing with her friends, playing in the toy area and doing activities with the unicorn fairy. Mommy recognized the unicorn as one of the girls who dresses up as characters at the mall! She was really sweet! 

 

Swim…Not

Astrid had a great week at school! Mommy enjoyed picking her up every day!!! We had plans to go swim at the y after school. We ran into mommy’s friend at front who

Also taught mommy’s morning  outdoor fitness class. Mandy said her 3rd class- water aerobics was canceled because the pool needed a new filter. Astrid looked so worried. So we went to the pool ….It was closed but played and made the most of it. 

At home we played hotel! Astrid took a nap and when she woke up she asked can we play hotel again? She’s so cute!! She gave me my keys, a reciept, told me my room number and said, “You’re all set!” It’s been a nice week off with her.

Another Productive Day

School, nap, meeting, play with Oliver, dance. Mommy is laying with Astrid and Oliver is being a sweet brother and saying good night to us. This week has gone by fast!
