Friday

It’s been a long, good week. Mommy has been super busy and not great at taking pictures but she did get a cute one of Abe this morning. We love our cats! Astrid had a good day but didn’t want to go swimming after school. She said she was sick but mommy thinks she just wanted to chill at home. She said her legs hurt because she had to walk!!!!!

 

Sick

Daddy woke up sick..he thought it was food poisoning, mommy thought it might be a bug. We’re pretty sure it’s a bug. Hopefully mommy and Astrid don’t get it. Mommy has a big race this weekend and really wants to paint the living room! We’ll see what happens! Mommy didn’t take any pictures today, Astrid was cute at dance! We’re still happy about Astrid’s floor cleaning last night!!

 

Cleaning & Cookies

Astrid helped mommy clean the kitchen floor tonight. It was a mess!! She did really well with the mop. Mommy hopes she wants to help all the time!! We also

Got all our cookies from Claire! Astrid was happy to have a couple thin mints tonight. 

 

Teacher

Astrid had a great day at school, with Grammie, and getting picked up by daddy in the afternoon. Mommy had her last three hour meeting with the CA dept of Ed and Astrid was great! She listened and stayed out of the room while mommy was in the zoom. Mommy is glad she’s a great listener!! 

 

Pick Up

Astrid had a good day. Grammie is still recovering from an oral surgery so Astrid stayed at school today. We miss Grammie but will get to see her tomorrow. Mommy loves seeing Astrid’s classroom and picking her up at school. Two other girls were wearing the same target pink jacket on the playground and it was so cute!! Mommy couldn’t find Astrid right away! 

 

Productive

Mommy had a very productive day of running 13 miles and painting. Daddy played a lot with Astrid so mommy coukd get it done. Astrid didn’t nap but mommy was still able to get it done surprisingly. 

 

 

Wonderkids

Astrid had a fun time at Rylee’s birthday party at a fun place called Wonderkids in Encinitas. Astrid got to see a ton of her friends from school and she was so happy. Mommy enjoys meeting the kids and moms! The rest of that day we were busy at home. Astrid took a great nap and mommy was able to get the hallway cleaned and taped up so she can paint it tomorrow. Mommy is hoping to be done painting by Presidents week off… it’s taking so long! And then she’ll plan for the kitchen! 

 

Another Rocket

Mommy saw another rocket but this time on her run this morning. It was amazing. Astrid got to spend time with Grammie this morning and then mommy picked her up at school. She came running to mommy like a rocket! Mommy got some cute pictures. We went swimming after…we’re going to try and do that on Friday afternoons/early evening if we can. She did such a great job in the pool!!!

 

Rocket

Astrid was chatty on the way to dance, worked hard and had fun at dance and came home to watch a rocket launch to yhe moon in the evening. It was a good day??

 

 

Today

Mommy spent the day at home working on a zoom meeting from 8:30 to 4;30. It was exhausting. Astrid cake joke crying because daddy didn’t take her to Walmart when he picked her up. That was exhausting. Thinking about our horrible neighbors across the little street is exhausting.

Looking at this old picture of my view gives me peace. Tomorrow will be a better day and hopefully Astrid feels better when she’s back in her old routine of mommy picking her up. 

 

Walmart Specials

Astrid got to go to Walmart with daddy where he spoiled her! He was going to get her a dress and squishmallow cereal but they walked out with a Minnie toy purse which included these glasses. She’s very sassy! Oliver likes seeing her and listening to her silly antics but he was on his phone in this picture!! Today was a good day.
