Thanksgiving

Happy thanksgiving! We had a nice productive day full of good food and family. Oliver had to work but we got to spend time with him in the evening. It’s off to the desert tomorrow!! 

 

 

Social & Cookies

Astrid had a great last day at school before Thanksgiving. Mommy, Grammie and Shane met her at the ice cream social. She ate her ice cream while we talked to another mom, then she wanted to go! We stopped at the Lexus dealership where she played and used the bathroom 3 times. That place always makes her excited!! At home we made the rest of the sugar cookies and she added sprinkles to them. We’ve been getting the house decorated for Chiristmas! It was a great day! 

 

Appointments

The appointments continue! Today Astrid had a dentist appointment at 1:30 so we went to her favorite, Chick-fil-a for lunch before the dentist. She did great at the dentist and has no cavities. The hygienist said her teeth are beautiful!!! Yay!! We focus on them. Just need to start flossing them. At home she took a great nap and we put up Christmas decorations. Mommy had a mammogram tonight and Astrid stayed with daddy. The house was a bigger mess when mommy got home but also Astrid had a bath. That was nice. 

 

Monday

 This morning Astrid was playing the keyboard and her kitty cat was meowing like crazy all at the same time. Mommy had come through the door and daddy looked a bit overwhelmed. Mommy thought it was funny.

Mommy also took pictures of the miniature things at Michael’s for Astrid’s dollhouse. Mommy wants a little more furniture to decorate with

Movie & Park

Last night we were at home and Astrid watched Frozen, she made daddy dance with her which he did for a minute. He’s feeling better. Today we had fun at the new spot at Balboa Park and enjoyed playing, going on the train and carousel and just soaking up Astrid’s toddler hood. It won’t be much longer that we can do this and mommy loves her time with Astrid. Tonight’s the first night mommy isn’t sleeping with Astrid since daddy is feeling better and Astrid was not happy about that. Sigh.
