50th Anniversary

We went to strides, did chores, took a great nap and then  celebrated 50 years of Grammie and grandpa being together! Everyone was there and we got the big pope table. It was really nice. Happy anniversary Grammie and grandpa!

We stayed close to home today since Astrid had some tummy issues the last two days.Shes doing better. She played a ton, rested, explored and is now sleeping soundly. Mama is headed in that direction too. Taking Christmas down, packing it up properly…exhausts mama this year! 

 

Bates Nut Farm

Astrid had a fun day and was happy to see her brother. We had fun up at Bates Nurs Farm at their annual 50% off everything sale. We saw animals, ate snacks, gave Oliver some gifts, and shopped for fun gifts to give the rest of the year. It was a fun day. But Astrid still has some yucky feelings in her stomach. We also learned that mommy’s car has yucky feelings and she should probably get a new one. We’ll try and stretch it’s time a little longer. 

Also, when we were leaving for the mechanic in the morning we couldn’t find Astrid’s shoe. See picture below of who had it attached to his back…

 

Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve was ful of an unexpected visit from nana and the cousins, a long run early in the morning for mommy, and getting ready for Santa. Christmas was wonderful. Astrid loved seeing that Santa came to our home, she loved opening presents and was super happy and grateful for everything she received. It was nice being with family.
